MAC HAB Mortar Type S

OBP Type-S MAC HAB Mortar is designed for use in the installation of high absorption brick or high absorption veneer units. Satisfies ASTM C270 Type S (1,800 psi min.) All MAC Mortars include efflorescence reducing additives to protect structures from harmful effects of the elements.

Description

  • Better water repellency.
  • Adds efflorescence reducers.
  • Longer board life – particularly in hot conditions.
  • Less shrinkage.
  • Even greater water retention to properly cure on highly absorbent surfaces.
  • Strengthens bond by matching mortar properties to the brick’s absorption rate.
  • Coverage: 94 lb sacks: 18-22 block, 45-48 modular brick
